I decided that I am going to take this #TBT (Throw Back Thursday) & use it to my blogging advantage. I have so.many.incredible shoots that I’ve done throughout the years & thinking about somehow blogging them is downright overwhelming. Somehow the thought of showcasing one every #TBT is way less taunting & actually exciting. Now, back to the subject of this post; Matthew & Kayte. You could search high & low without a mere sight of imperfection. Such a lovely Fall day; adorned by spunky people, rustic details, & of course, love.
Mr. & Mrs. Zacharias. What a lovely reception! The windowed walls, brunch buffet, & nautical touches were perfectly suited for such a classy couple. Kristen & Felix are truly two of the nicest people I have ever met & all of their guests were a true reflection of that. From bow ties to babies with bows I hope you enjoy a glimpse into their Lawrence wedding reception.
This family. There is nothing not inspiring about the Hayes family. I am so thankful that I have been asked to take their family pictures since this family of 6 was just a family of 3 & a half! (Paxton was an infant so he just counts as half.) One of these days I will do a post showcasing a family portrait from each session so you can see all of the new additions & changes. One thing that hasn’t changed though is the boundless chemistry & love. We could NOT have asked for sweeter weather. The sun was shining but the breeze was cool on this gorgeous morning at Loose Park. The rose gardens were the perfect accessory to this stunning family.
Sometimes I forget how cool my job really is. Going into my client’s homes & seeing images that I’ve taken framed on their walls will never get old. Of course, Jenna took the adorable’ness up a notch! She has showcases of each one of her children surrounding the fireplace! Jake, Paxton, Bale, & Kate all have their letter and a cluster of pictures. In love. Each image brings a memory from that session back to my mind. (besides 2 pictures I didn’t take, but we won’t talk about those 😉 )

It’s hard to even know where to begin describing how incredible Cole & Amanda are. Not only were they a dream couple but their wedding party were as lovely as can be. Amanda did such a great job capturing a feminine elegance throughout the entire day. From the pink hued peonies to the crystals that laced the tables- it was one of my favorite “work” days for sure.
I’m pretty sure I told this senior Jacob several times that if his post high school plans didn’t work out that he had a real shot at modeling! I could not have asked for a more handsome young man to work with. If I can’t have dresses & girly props I really lucked out!
Three completely separate locations & vibes! Which is your favorite? I can’t decide. All different. All Jacob.

High school seniors are one of my favorite shoots to photograph! So much unique personality & such a pivotal time in their life. The excitement & creativity is unmatched. I will be showcasing a few past seniors in individual posts but here are a few shots from the past year!
I won’t bore you with thousands of pictures from the past 5 years but here are some images of a few of the amazing couples I’ve had a blast photographing in the past year or so! I will be making full entries for a few past engagement sessions as well! I apologize in advance for the obscene amount of logos photobombing. They can be so thoughtless sometimes. 😉
